YARN

Yarn is a continuous thread-shaped structure that is manufactured from staple fibers with limited length or multiple continuous threads.

The type of yarn used has a decisive affect on the fabric properties with regard to
- Appearance (uniformity)
- Service performance (scrub, pull, wrinkle and seam resistance)
- Wear properties (absorbance, softness, flexibility)

Depending on the type of application it will be different in:
- Yarn
- Web yarn
- Knitting yarn
- Sewing thread
